At Parkland, we live our values every day. To demonstrate our value of COMMUNITY you are invited to join your fellow colleagues in a beach-clean up with Clean Miami Beach Inc.

CMB will educate Parkland on the negative impact of single use plastics on the earth’s ecology and we will have an opportunity to parciipate in a meaningful ‘give-back’ activity.
Who is Clean Miami Beach?
Clean Miami Beach Inc is a registerd nonprofit organization founded by Miami Beach resident Sophie Ringel. CMB is dedicated to the protection of beautiful Miami Dade County and its marine wildlife.

EVENT DETAILS
When: Monday, October 16th @ 4:00 - 5:30 PM
Where: Ritz-Carlton South Beach. Meet on the beach side of the DiLido Beach Club. We will meet directly on the sand, please look for the turtle flag!

Things to know if you are attending the Beach Clean Up:
​
- All clean-up supplies will be provided by Clean Miami Beach (gloves, trash bags, buckets, picker)
​
- Closed-toed shoes are recommended for cleaning the dunes, sandals or barefoot for the sand
​
- Please bring water in a reusable water bottle (no single-use plastics, please)
​
- Wear appropriate sun protection
